Pharma application:-

  • Stability Studies have become mandatory criteria to meet the regulatory requirements of the various international bodies such as ICH, FDA, TAPPI, TGA, JPMMA, MHRA, ANVISA, ASEAN or any of the National Testing Standards.
  • According to the ICH Guideline Q1A(R2), stability tests have to be performed under defined climatic conditions in order to provide evidence of the stability of active substances.
  • Stability studies are conducted for Long term, Intermediate, accelerated and other set conditions
Cement Industries application:-

  • Humidity chamber are also used in cement industries for testing of Portland cement specimens which are to be aged in humidity chambers in accordance with
    IS 4031

    FEDRAL SPEC: SS-C-158, SS-C-181b
    EN: 196
  • Prior to testing, EN196 requires moulds to be cured for the period of at least 24 hours at 20 +/-1°C 90% Rh minimum. The moulds are then demoulded and stored under water for the required time usually 48 hours, 72 hours, 7 and 28 days.

  • The measurement of product stability (shelf life testing) is a requirement of sound product development.
